  • Fashion Staples: The Velvet Crush

The 1970s are my favorite decade. I absolutely love all the colors and fabrics associated with the decade. Corduroy and Velvet textures have found a serious new obsession in my heart. This New Year’s I’m adding these seasonal statement textures in my closet and home all year-round, from New Year’s Eve to Mardi Gras and Valentines Day.

Velvet reminds me of romance, sweet rose petals and true passionate love. Why not embrace this feeling on your feet all year long. 🙂 I will be sharing all my fashion staples in upcoming outfit post.

I hope you all have a wonderful New Year’s, and wish you all the best of health for 2017. Thank you all for every single glance and growing support for Paradise Roads. I cannot wait to see what happens and where 2017 will bring me over the next 12 months of my life, but I’m even more excited to share it all with you.

We are traveling to Georgia in the next week to the Cancer Treatment Center of America. My prayer is that we start 2017 with great news. The last visit was pretty draining as cancer cells were raised, which now has forced my sweet, little momma to take chemo pills. Im hoping her cell count will be stabilized this visit and continue to enjoy the time God is giving me with her. I can see her happy, fun and sassy self on our trip back home.

Happy New years and Happy Everyday!
