Here are some of my favorite trending items happening in the fashion world right now.
1. Big, Bold and Fabulous Lashes
Lashes are everywhere right now and lash bars are popping up in the major cities. Girls can try lash extensions, magnetic lashes, and easy pull and stick lashes with glued application. Remember practice makes perfect and choosing the appropriate length for your face. I always try to go for the natural look, unless I’m shooting something fun, and go out all with a pop of bold. Be careful with Latisse that is supposed to make your lashes grow. I’ve heard some really bad reviews about this process. Follow Jessica See for all your beauty needs. She knows her stuff!
2. Farmhouse Style
Another trend that is popping up everywhere you is the farmhouse look. Everywhere from big cities to our neck of the woods. If you are looking for some very unique and special pieces for your home, try my favorite store that is located downtown DeRidder. Rooted Cypress
3. Local Pride
Gosh this is prime time for local hometown pride right now. High school football teams across the state are gearing for the big games in New Orleans this week. For local shopping tryCurious Cargo
4. Trending in The Fashion Scoop
Just in case you haven’t heard, cargo shorts and pants are supposedly out. I’m not sure if I agree with that myself but I love them on guys. I guess that’s the mom in me.
Currently I’m loving everything loungewear. We live in a very busy time and clothes that can go from gym to grocery store is all good with me! Just never wear pajamas in public. Athletic wear looks so much better!! I few stores I’m loving right know Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Target (always) and even Walmart.
5. Stress Free Holiday
having a stress free holiday is always a timeless trend. Everyday can be stressful enough, but holidays always add more pressure. Be your true authentic self. True friends and family will love you no matter what, it’s just another occasion. Remember the true reasons that matter. Being Catholic Advent started this last Sunday and to simplify the term, it’s just a way to prepare yourself for what happen in a manger 2,000 years ago. The Catholic Company
