  • Sister Time With 7 Favorites In Downtown McKinney

November, the month of falling leaves, corn bread dressing and a time to be thankful.

Speaking of giving thanks, You would find us in Dallas. Where my mom was able to spend a little time with her sister.

The first night day we caught up on the Hallmark Christmas movies, had a glass (or two) of wine, and waited for the turkey to appear in the center of the table.

The second day we traveled to down town McKinney, where we were introduced to some of the most beautiful shops and restaurants. Mostly I hid in corners of the shops taking pictures of my mom and my aunt.

Unfortunately, with the way things are this season, my mom has been experiencing a horrible couch, which sometimes leads to losing her breathe. She did this once of the way to Texas, just her and I. It was so scary and end of thinking I’m going to have to do CPR on her.

If you have any suggestions or tips on that, please let me know.

However, this thanksgiving was one of my most favorite days of the year. The older I become, the more I have to be grateful for. I am truly thankful for being the one to drive my momma this year to Dallas. It was everything to her. It has been a blessing and a spiritual experience for me. Below are a few of my favorite shops downtown McKinney.

How adorable is my aunts new home! Hello 85 inch flat screen, surround sound! GO COWBOYS

I know it was hard for her to truly enjoy herself as she thought about her health and coughing.

    1. Landon Winery – Award-Winning Texas Winery

The best white wine and a patio to die for!

As you can see, I caught her coughing. That’s all she has done for 8 months. And sadly, it’s only getting worse.

    5. Ettiene Market – Specialty kitchen & gourmet pantry essentials for the home. The best wooden spoons!!!

Also, wanted to add that we were able to FaceTime my cousin from China! Hey Amber!
