Mother Teresa of Calcutta quoted, “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” I would like to introduce something to the blog called, The Office Memo. From time-to-time, I’ll be introducing women (or guys) that has really inspired me through their style around the office. Women are known for being hard on themselves. If you’re having a bad day or feeling low on self-esteem, a kind word or simple compliment from someone can make an enormous difference in your day. So the next time you see something that you like about another person, tell them.
Today I’m happy to share a look from Tina Whitaker. I first met Tina years ago through an email. She asked if I would be interested in styling a dessert table for her little girl’s birthday. I gladly accepted the offer and we have been friends ever since.
I know all too well how sometimes it can be hard to care about your everyday appearance. I hope with this new series it can enlighten your style and help you put together a look through my lens and a little bit of added hope in the process of getting dressed for your work attire!
Tina’s look has basically endless styling options, and I love how she enhanced her look by supporting a self-made jewelry designer. All of Tina’s accessories came from, Kree-Ey-Tiv Design by Janoiva Glass-Martinez. If you would like to see more of her work please click Click Here for the link. Another great thing about Tina’s look is that florals never seem to go out of style. You can wear this yellow dress in the fall paired with a great over the knee boot or fall color duster, but for now can we just admire the classic look of spring! This is the perfect office memo that you can transition from office wear to causal weekend wear. Tina got this dress from “My Bump”.
The thing I love most about This office memo is you can either go high end or go frugal – go from work with flats to dinner out by adding heels! It’s just that simple!
The Office Memo,
