  • Your DIY Box Is Here For Your Next Birthday Or Birthday Party

Looking for a fun birthday DIY for your girlfriends!! Look no more! This simple wooden craft box can be turned into a personalized memory box, for a cute space on a desk or office.

My friend Irene has a birthday coming up in the next few days so I wanted to take the time and share this DIY Incase you need a new idea!

I took a simple wooden craft box that came with an insert of four picture. Hot glued some beautiful fake roses and covered one side of the box. Bonus: these roses last forever!

Michaels has all sorts of fake roses, dragonflies, and butterflies in one section of the store that are all together. You can create a beautiful bouquet in only a few steps.

To make the craft box pop be sure to use every nook and space, but don’t overwhelm the eyes, keep it soft and simple, if that makes sense. With the roses I didn’t cover all the picture and left a space for the natural wood to blend in.

Next you will need to find small but chic birthday stickers. I love these from Jolene’s Boutique. They are soft and chic, and flower together well with Irene’s theme.

Lastly, try to always incorporate your friends name or initials, with Irene’s box we added her name on top (simplicity) with gold sticker letters and on the side of one picture we incorporated her age with the same gold stickers.

Too many colors may make it look tacky so try to always be aware of sticking with the same color scheme.

This is not only girl for your girlfriends but would be a great kid-friendly DIY for birthday parties. Think of all the possibilities they could use to store in their box, my most favorite being items like candy or a rosary!

If you use this idea for a birthday party DIY please let know by tagging me in Instagram!

    Best Wishes and happy DIY-ing
