  • An “Inning” Of Growth For Extreme

Well, we didn’t take home the State Title for Extreme this year, but we took home a lot of memories and these kids will appreciate those little moments rather than anything. We had a rough start Friday night losing our first game, then ending up tying our first game on Saturday morning. A lost. Plus a tie. Is sure to equal a win by the third game, right?! Right! We ending up beating a team called, Biscuits Saturday night, which kept us in the tournament! But come Sunday morning we were a little sluggish, not playing bad, but the team didn’t come out on top and as a result, we ending up losing out of the tournament.

This season we had some BIG wins and surely like most teams, we had BIG upsets, but as I’ve watched our boys play this year it dawns on me just how special these boys are. I can see so much growth, experience, and depth for 2020! (The year 2020 y’all) I feel we have unfinished business for this next year that I can’t wait to see our boys battle.

I feel we have unfinished business

However, with growth will come tougher schedules and bigger teams that we will have to prepare for. I have no doubt that when Extreme comes back in 2020 we will be mentally matured to play those Triple-AAA teams. We will be taking home so many more memories than ever before. I’m so proud of you Extreme and I’m so grateful #10 has been placed in a fine baseball club!

    Best Wishes,

    Kacie
